I've been and will be pretty busy with work for the next weeks, but hopefully I'll have some time to finish an animation I started of a dancing kitty like the ones I sketched here. Stay tuned!

Cartoony kitty sketches

I figure I should loosen up a bit and do some toony kitty doodles. Stay tuned for more of these, as well as cleaned up, slightly animated, color versions.
Oh yeah, and if you haven't gathered yet by my daily posts this week, my new year resolution is to draw more and post it to this blog. The headline at the top does say "mostly daily" after all.

Happy 2008

I've done a few sketches of the kitties since the last post, and just got around to scanning them. The sketches are pretty rough, but this blog isn't about making pretty illustrations as much as it's about my work process and getting me to do stuff at all. More to come over the next few days.

In addition to hands, I also need to practice drawing interiors. I never draw them. So many details! I get so bored drawing them. I just need to get over it and concentrate more.
